Long time lurker, first time poster.
Lurker on forums in general that is, not this one in particular, this one I just found.

So about me and my motivations. I'm currently a casual writer, I have no professional publications, and I'm looking to learn, to meet like minded people and most of all, I'm looking for motivation. I admit to being a terrible self-motivator and as much as I like to write, I find it so easy to get distracted without someone or something to keep me on track.

Now, I'm not a terribly social person so some motivation to get in on the conversation is appreciated too. I'm looking forward to getting along here.
