I am kind of surprised no one has mentioned roses. I have a number of Old English roses and on a quiet summer's evening when I come home they're all I can smell. Beautiful, but evil when you confront them with clippers!!

My garden is a bit miserable in terms of flowers. Besides my roses, I have two huge lavenders and a heck of a lot of geranium (easy to grow, hard to kill, and pretty).

But everyone has mentioned flowers I love. Well, really, how can one not love flowers????
