Noticing Newbies

I realize we're getting -way- off the topic of the thread here, but...

That's awfully sad. I had been romanticizing your job, thinking it would be a very pleasant thing...but not even being allowed such an innocuous thing as a houseplant, that's ridiculous. (Granted, not having a window kind of pre-empts that anyway, but not having a window is awful too! lol)

I'm glad you can at least hang some pictures on the wall. I guess that's something, at least. Otherwise it sounds very constrained as to what you can and can't do. I couldn't stand that.

I'm the kind of person that has to be able to personalize every aspect of their life. I need to decorate, paint, adorn, and customize everything to make it pretty (or at least interesting), and unique. :P
