Noticing Newbies

Hello All,

I joined yesterday because I liked the site and what it can do for writers. Any feedback you give will be greatly appreciated. Be honest, because no matter how hard you are on me agents and publishers will be worse! Be brutal if you must. Writers need to have a thick skin and take constructive criticism with the attitude it will only improve their work. We all need this from each other!

Likewise, if I point out some things in your work, it's not a criticism of who you are, but how you can improve your work. This is the most valuable feedback one writer can give another.

Also, punctuation, spelling, and grammar MATTER. I e-published my first novel, Selkie Tales on Amazon and received a harsh criticism for punctuation and spelling that absolutely destroyed my chances at marketing the book and the rest of the series, so I did withdraw it from the Amazon marketplace. It and the three books that follow are available on Lulu.com instead. I am writing the fifth and last book in the series because I don't believe in leaving a work unfinished.
