| Hi there, I frequently visited the Interactive Stories section on this site and thoroughly enjoy contributing to stories I like. But since this afternoon, I've been getting a "Due to heavy server volume, Interactive Stories are temporarily unavailable." message. It has been almost 5 hours and the issue still persists. Has this problem been brought to the attention of the support team? Thank you. |
| I know your pain, man. It's hard to contribute anything to the interactives with the website constantly derping like this. Which also begs the question: who designed this website? Was it the same guy that designed iTunes? |
The StoryMaster   has said the issue is now fixed in another post. Incedentally Storymaster is also the person who designed this site from scratch and has maintained the most vibrant writing community on the web. Unlike iTunes which was designed by a team of highly paid programmers, this site is designed by mainly 1 person who also regularly communicates with the users. SM works ridiculously hard and still has time to bring up a lovely family along with StoryMistress who designs the beautiful graphics that make this site shine. Personally I think these two brilliant people deserve a lot more appreciation and gratitude and less snide remarks over a few times when the site doesn't work perfectly.So to answer your question, 'who designed this site' the answer is two of the most brilliant and selfless people I know. | Unfortunately the new year brings in a flood of traffic. With ad blockers so prevalent, there's limited resources for the free members and it just gets rationed out. | The only problem, is it did that even way before the new year. I really like this site, it just gets a bit annoying having that happen all the time. |

| What I would like to know is if I sign up for the basic membership, the $9.95 per 3 months one, will that make this go away? Or do I have to sign up for a higher level of membership? |
