Hi Chris as far as I am aware, you would have to copy the text and paste it in to the "Create item" box - I don't know of a way to avoid using the "Create item" tool although you can post things directly in to newsfeed such as pictures. You might want to try asking this on the "Technical Help" page *Smile*
