I've only been here two and a bit years to Shelley's six but it's as she has said - an awesome place for meeting people and for writing - all genres, all types. She gave you the link to the WDC bible; I still look at it myself since it's a fabulous tool.

I weave too - but rather more in a dodging fashion, avoiding my characters' questions over why their stories have not been finished. And I cobble - excuses for why their stories have not been finished!

I did come here to work on my novels but there are so many short story contests that keep catching my eye. I am hoping that in learning how to finish a short story I can apply that to my novels!
