Finale has always been my first choice as well, and we have it in our computer labs at the music school campuses. But Noteflight.com is a CLOUD notation app, and you can share your work, so you can search the public archives for work others have shared, copy, edit, etc. as well as share your own work. It's doesn't have nearly the features of Finale but the portability and share features make it powerful in its own right.
