I don't think you're an idiot at all!

NaNoWriMo may just be the thing you need to get the first draft done. And if it's something you think is so crappy you want to burn it so that no-one can ever read it, that's also ok. After all, you don't need to publish a finished novel on 1 December. *BigSmile*

Doing NaNoWriMo last year was just the thing I needed to get myself to write every day.
This year I am prepping a lot more though!
