Mapping Detour
So I've written the dialogue for my character's backstory. But now I've got to add the visuals, and I've found myself drawing a map. Oddly enough it's giving me a better sense of my characters in knowing and actually seeing the environment they exist in. I know it'll take time but I think I'll do a few floor maps so that I feel less blind in the different settings.

Does anyone else do this sort of thing? Any advice?
