October Novel Prep Challenge

My apology if this has already come up, but I wasn't able to find it on the thread.

"I have entered my assignment as both a "required" and "contest". When I check the log, its registered under the assigned but not entered under the contest column. I have been inputting them as "items" so I went back and redid it as an "entry" but still nothing. Am I doing something wrong? If so, what do I need to do to make sure my item is also in the contest running?
