My zombies are all about the soul binding element. I think that the disease zombies are over done. I haven't seen any zombie books (horror) or fantasy books that really use Voodoo as the premise.
My main character is the daughter of a Loa, Erzulie and human...Legba is making an appearance. I have been doing so much research of Voodoo, New Orleans, and Haiti. I am taking some liberties....this is fiction after all. I am super excited about it.
