A month-long novel-planning challenge. NaNoWriMo'ers welcome! 2026 sign-ups open Sept 1st. |
Patrece, I recommend you go to NaNoWriMo.org and read their FAQ. If you are using them to track your word count, you can install a widget here on WDC that pulls it from them and displays it here. And they have lots of fun stuff in the forums, and many areas organize local brick-and-mortar writing groups around nano, and etc. Also, check in with the various boards here on WDC. As a Winner, you've won access to boards specifically for challenge winners and runners-up, but also check out the open WDC NaNo board, "The WDC NanoLounge" ... Cherryh āNo, writing 50,000 words in a month is normal. You are not crazy. This is not insane.ā ~Teri Brown |
