Actually, if you have a paid membership you can change the theme. I think it has to be an upgraded though. They do a lot of upgrading on the tools we need we really don't care what the background looks like as long as we can find what we need, when we need it. At least I could care less. LOL

As to how they run here... There are several groups for New members. You have the Newbie Academy, the Paper Doll Gang to start. They have programs to help new members find their way around because this site is by no means tiny. Other than that, We post our work, review other people's work, and put it out there that we would like a review in hopes someone has the time.

We have fundraisers for groups to raise gps that we get from them when we do reviews that are affiliated to their group. We use the gps to buy things for others like merit badges and awardicons and for ourselves in the form of gps and things out of the shop which can also be gifted to others.

I think that covers it. You can pretty much find anything you need to get started under the community tab on the left hand side bar.
