Noticing Newbies

Hi Jacque. You and I aren't much different. I want the same things you want right down to the one room cabin on land that is mine free and clear. I have the land. My father left it to me. Now I just need to get my tiny house.

I'm 42 and I still have another 4 years before my youngest might even think about moving out. He and his two slightly older sisters have decided they are living here until they can all buy a house together not to far from me so they will be close by should something happen to their father and I'm stuck alone. My dad died at 55 so you know we are always kind of prepared for the possiblity of something horrible happening.

As far as your confidence goes. Yes, we may pick apart what you write. We might love it. You can never know until you try. I see by your black case you already have. I will try to get by and do a review for you. It may take a few days though. I am in the middle of National Novel Writing Month and way behind on my word count.

Most of us have been where you are. We all worry we aren't as good as we think we are. We become better writer's by helping each other be better writers. So, it's not that we have fun destroying you. We don't. We just understand that to build you up sometimes we have to tear you down.

I am dyslexic and they made me feel at home enough that I eventually became a mod. Take the leap and do a review. You never know what you can learn about your own writing by critically reviewing another person's work.
