Noticing Newbies

Hi,

I have been on the site since November 4, 2015 and I have given 59 reviews and posted 19 items. I received an Awardicon from NRC, thanks to the Newbie Research Project and a Merit Badge from a peer. What a welcome! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have big shoes to fill, as I am following in Rasputin's footsteps - he was my brother. As we came together as family to mourn his passing, I began to write again. Currently I am exploring and finding a niche with poetry and trying to enter contests. To date, I have entered Newbies Only Poetry Contest, Poetic Traditions Poetry Contest and Newbies Only 100 Word Story Contest, as well as a misadventure in The Writer's Cramp. It's been challenging and fun!
