Noticing Newbies

Welcome Aubrey and what an amazing achievements with NaNo you have. Congrats on that! There's a lot of writers of all kind in here and I'm sure you'll run into most of them if you get involved more within the community. There are some ways that are easy for you to put yourself out here such as reviewing and probably participating in contests here. Links to various contests and writing you can find on the left side of your portfolio where it says community- if you click to that you will see contests that you can check out. Also, if you click to browse by genre right under your community section it will open window to various genres and static items that people are posting here.

Since you said that you are still trying to figure out this site I would recommend to go over "Writing.Com 101" - basic guidance and instructions about Writing.Com where you can learn all those small things that are confusing to a newbies. You can also check out the items provided within this page as we have reviewing groups that you might wanna join some day.

I don't wanna overwhelm you with information right now, once when you check out links that I have mentioned to you above I'm sure you will do great. However, if you still feel confused about certain thing, all of us here had been a newbies once and we understand, feel free to email me or post it back here, we'll be glad to guide you through your WdC journey.
