Spensarian Sonnet
Christmas time

Oh Christmas time is a time of cheer
Love, hope, and peace will feel the air
It is the best time of the year
Through the snow and up the stair

This is a time when there shouldn’t be fear
Many a folks have much to care
Away from terror we should steer
For many their life is a nightmare

Look into her eyes you’ll find she’s fair
To a castle she’ll still away
Every season you’ll find her there
Her dreams are real in the light of day

But she still loves and laughs and lives
And throughout the Christmas season she gives.
