Have you noticed that writing poetry can also make you "Forget the strife/ Caused by life"?

The rhyming helps to generate a rhythm and also adds a touch of humor.

I like the way you designed the progressively longer line lengths to move from a tone of intense focus to a more relaxed reflective mood.
