Literature educator? Not really. As indicated in "My Journey to Becoming a Writer" , I got drug in through the back door to teaching poetry. It seems like every time I sign up for a poetry workshop, I get talked into teaching. Therefore, except for that first six-week workshop ( http://www.greatdegree.com/courses/Poetry-Pleasures-of-217.html ), all my training has been self-inflicted.

Your poem lacks the consistent rhyme scheme, but otherwise roughly resembles the "Form of the week: Limerick"  , which we covered before you joined us.
