Wow! Thanks for that amazing donation! Now I feel bad because I'm afraid this piece doesn't fit in this contest's "free verse" perameters and I can't it qualify it. Because this piece has an even and set rhyme, meter, or pattern, it would be considered traditional poetry. However, you can and should enter it in the "Poetic Traditions Poetry Contest "  which is perfect for this piece. You are also free to enter a new free verse piece for this round of "Shadows and Light Poetry Contest" .
