I completely agree with the former commenters. Creativity doesn't mean creating something completely original, because no one really ever manage that. It means building on what you know and have experienced, creating something similar to what has been done before but with your own twist and turns to it.

The "boy goes to wizard school" was not created by J.K. Rowling, but she did it in a way no one else had done before.

Albert Einstein didn't just think of the relativity theories from nothing. He build upon years of studying physics and an ability to see things in a new way.

So write that story and make it your story.
