Suggestion: Journal Entry Prompts
I was looking for journal entry prompts for a daily journal when I realized something: You can use those prompts and write then in your character's POV.

You will learn a lot about your character, and may even have something to include in your story. Remember most of what you write is for you. It is extra stuff that the reader may never get to read. Unless you included deleted scenes or extra scenes section at the end of the book.
