The Bards Hall Contest is one of the more popular activities on WDC, so it could be a great chance to showcase your writing to others.

In their own words,

*What to add to your Steampunk?*
Anything in the horror genre that would fit within the Steampunk style!

Ideas:
* Vampire Tales
* Werewolves
* Ghosts
* Sci-Fi Monsters

You know the scoop ... Preternatural, Supernatural -- out there somewhere, yet woven together to make your hero/heroine fight the good fight against a Frightening Nemesis! It's Rust or Bust, folks.

Rules:

*Keep the story 1500 words or less

*Begins at Midnight October 1 and
*Ends on October 27 at 11:59 p.m. WDC time.

Prizes: (Are subject to increase with more entries and donations)

*First Place: 50k Awardicon
*Second Place: 25k Awardicon
*Third Place : 10k Awardicon
