October Novel Prep Challenge

I keep hitting snags that I have to research, which impede my forward progress.

Examples:
My protagonist is a mainland Celt, born around 500 BC. What did she look like?
If she starts in the FBI, could she get transferred to the Dept of Homeland Security?
How does Ancestry.com's DNA testing work, and how specific is the info it tells you?

Anyone else finding themselves constantly interrupted by the need to Google?
