Re: Re: Romance in a story
Thanks for the feedback. I really just need others to give me the thumbs up, I think, before I move forward confidently.

The traditional YA romance arc seems to require at least 3 people and there needs to be a moment where the two destined end up hating each other.

In the YA romances I've read, when there is a romance early on, it's overridden by the 3rd person swooping in and kissing the protagonist in a way their first love never did or something like that. *Wink*

It's a bit of a whirlwind romance and I expect to have both protagonists wonder if they made the right choice while they're apart during the second half of the book, not because someone else kisses them senseless but because lifetime commitments are a bit daunting, but once they reunite it'll reaffirm their decision to be together.

Merit Badge in Poetry
[Click For More Info]

I nominate Sarah Rae again for a merit badge for her amazing poetry. Though, she never claims to be a poet, but her work speaks for itself. Not only me, but many other people and about anyone who has come across her poetry has enjoyed it. I envy her superb ability to write so easily and with so much emotion, and I look forward to many more poems from her. She is definitely very deserving of this badge.~Nominated by [Link To User sarama] through [Link To Item #817493]
