I hear ya! I'm struggling with this one, too. As a matter of fact, I just printed out some material on the Culture, Society and Religion of the United States of America, and American Culture: Traditions and Customs of the United States.

I know what it is, but I don't know how to state it. How much does this pertain to my story? I'm sure it must play a part but I'm not sure how.
