Good luck! I once had to make a switch 5 days into NaNoWriMo. That was killer, but I managed (didn't win, but I did make enormous headway with my new project, despite the sheer number of stumbling blocks I have in November that distracted me).

Anything that gets you actually writing words is the best project for you, no matter how well you might have outlined the first idea. *Wink*
