October Novel Prep Challenge

I thought this might be classified as a cozy mystery but its more fiction. There are no dead bodies to find the murderer, or a treasure to locate. Its just finding out if two identical women are in fact twins and why they were separated?
I'm not sure whether to write the past in a flashback and tell it in real time or have the lawyer's grandson find the evidence and began his own search for the missing twins? hmmm? they all meet at the end
