I joined Writing.Com today per the recommendation of my creative writing teacher. Honestly, I'm not sure if I have a specific genre (my first post in my portfolio is a fantasy/romance piece, but it's the only piece I've ever written in that genre), but maybe I'll discover a strong suit here. I also like editing and reviewing, so I'll probably spend a majority of my time reading other writers' work. I'm excited to join this community, and I wish my fellow newbies the best!
