Grief is one thing, I'm sure his characters moved on with out those characters.They served their purpose, why have them hanging around if they aren't going to be part of the story. I understand that, but I get attached to a character then the writer changes it all. Think of Grimm and juliette...
Maybe just send them off to siberia
