Absolutely true. why do women read Harlequins sine their inception. We all know how its going to end, we've read the plot over and over, but the characters, the conflicts and the resolutions are what keep us buying those little books over and over.
OI don't read them any more I just couldn't read the tired plots and to me they were different enough. I was constantly rewriting them in my head.
