update for the 23rd

I worked on some goals this week and although I only accomplished part of them I really tried. I lost two of the five pounds I was trying to lose. I entered a short story contest and for me to write a short story and enter it into a contest is a feat. I won third place in two different contests for short stories, I am surely amazed. I also created a new Christmas poem and entered it in a contest. I don't know how well it will do but I've tried.
