If I could get any time I'd be trying to hammer an idea and several vignettes into a story. I also want to check with the chief and see if a very reworked story might qualify as "fairly new" when I sift it through a good hard rewrite or at least a very diligent revision.
Fortunately I'll probably have my 45mins of writing back with a schedule change back to the way things were when I felt like I wasn't getting enough time to write. I found that no time at all is much worse. It didn't really work today, but that might just be getting back in the grove.
