Personally, I poked around several sites before finding WDC. It's been one of the best decisions I've made to help improve my writing.

Take advantage of the many contests and enjoy the attention you'll receive as a newbie. Check out the 'Request a Review' resources and the 'Please Review' to get some feedback on your work.

And have fun. This is a great community with TONS of opportunity to grow.
