Presenting myself. Again.

Hello everybody!
I had an account here a couple of years ago, but I deleted it when a massive writer's block hit me.
I'm still struggling with it because of some real-life related things but I'm fighting to push it out of my way.
I'm a 33 years old Italian girl who challenged herself to write a short story in English.
This happened SEVEN years ago. As you can imagine, my story is not 'short' anymore.
The problem is that English is not my first language so I need someone to tell me if what I'm writing is correct or not and that's the main reason I'm here.

I hope you guys can help me with that.
