Noticing Newbies

Hello to all. Please call me Harold X. It is a pleasure to be here. I just found out about this site. I have been thinking about writing for a while now but I never got around to it. I won't lie, I am a bit lazy when it comes to starting something new. I never know how to start, so I have decided to take a new approach: Just wing it! So I am not experienced in writing, meaning I have no education on the subject nor have a written much in the past. I do love reading although to be honest I don't read as much as I want to. Still I am excited to be here and just start writing. Any tips for a newbie like me will be much appreciated.
