Hello Robert Stuart and welcome to Writing dot Com!

I totally get what you mean about your first wife. I actually had pretty much the same experiences. Firstly, the first stuff I ever wrote was on an old desktop computer that died one day and the computer shop told me the hard drive was inaccessible. Secondly, my wife hated my writing and told me I was a dreamer and I should stop writing and work more instead. So, I get you big time!
