Noticing Newbies

Hello & Welcome.
It's always a little unsettling with a new group but this is one of the best. I poked around on several sites and
,hands down, WDC is the best.

As Bob recommended, take advantage of the contests. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting one and they
are both fun and educational.

Also, take advantage of the reviews. As a newbie, you'll find you get several, but later they will dwindle. But don't
lose heart. Look at 'Please Review' or pay a 1,000 GPS and request one from 'Request a Review'. You can find
people who will provide kindly reads to your work or those who will rip you a new one with valid critiques. Personally,
I'm a fan of the latter.

Don't have GPS and want to keep your 'free' account? No problem...that's where contests and reviews come in. You can earn GPs reviewing others or by participating in contests. If you win you could be set for life...or at least a few weeks.

Anyway, look around, poke into a few ppls portfolios and mainly..have fun.
