I went to university (college) more years ago than I care to remember, and I wasn't an English major. But as a general principle, think of the authors you particularly admire, then Google their name(s). Many have web sites devoted to them, and you can check out the sorts of material that interest you.
That's another direction. Think about what really excites you, what you are passionate about. Then Google that - it might be crochet, nuclear physics, child protection, plastic porridge percolators or whatever. Then Google the subject for extra information.
Or maybe focus on the genres that particularly interest you and check out some of the authors in those genres.
