The series you mentioned must be new! I need to catch up and check it out! Have you heard of the Belgariad series by David Eddings?

I first began writing a book back in grade school that was solely fantasy - had my own world to build but over the years (decades actually) its been virtually shelved. I get twinges every now and then to pull it back out and work with it, but the other ideas Ive come up with, I want to try and work with that before I try it. Still Im all about fantasy worldbuilding - hopefully this group will get me inspired once again.

And by all means call me Sharon if you like - either name is fine! :) I like to say something about it because I often forget and I dont want to appear schizophrenic (who knows, maybe I am!) LOL
