I love to read, but I have to stick out the school year. Avoiding libraries is preventing my knack of getting lost in stories, while there's work to hand in. Otherwise I'd probably read five books a week. I don't read many adult books yet, but there are some great young adult. I find the Fantasy genre tends to be universal. (That adults can read books targeted towards a younger audience.)
I don't agree with you, Tobber. I believe when we read, while we're reading, our subconscious is always picking things up. Also, as a writer, I find I can't pick up a book and not analyze the writing while I'm reading. I'm always scanning for mistakes. (I usually find one or two typos, but figure there are plenty who will alert the author.)
