Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone,

I strolled onto this website when in search for some basic rules of poetry. I am picking up on writing poetry again, which I have not done for at least ten years or so. I used to just write something without using any rules or so. But I remember that it would give me so much joy. I did write some lyrics and slowly picking on that too.

Next is that I am not a native (English), I am Dutch and this might be a little harder than a native, however, I am willing to learn.

Furthermore, I am confident getting some tips on how to improve my poems, and maybe lyrics.
