Makes me curious, too. I remember at Universal studios, they used lots of smoke while the actors ripped off their cape and mask costume...Or run off set to switch with someone else.
Voices are easy. Lip sync with the other actor talking from off stage.
I'll have to remember to ask my daughter who knows a lot about acting...
