October Novel Prep Challenge

I’ve got two ideas going around in my head, and I’m not sure which to go for.

One, I’ve been thinking about for a long time. It’s sci-fi, and I’ve never written anything longer than 1000 words in that genre.

The other is newer to me, and I’ve got less of a picture of it in my mind, but am tempted by it. Although I think it could be more effort figuring things out? It’s in the supernatural/crime genres I’ve written pretty much all my novels in.

So which do I go for? I’ve got inspiration for both. It’s just about which I end up writing.
