It is cool that you are stretching your plot over other books.

But, one thing to keep in mind: each of these particular stories could still use a three act structure to make them whole.

Especially because otherwise, your first book might lack a sense of closure, or something like that.

I suggest reading "The Lunar Chronicles" to see what worked well and what didn't work for your story.
