October Novel Prep Challenge

The objective is to have all three sections pinned down before November. So far, we've brainstormed "Separation / Departure" (on Day 2 and Day 3), the first part of "Initiation" (on Day 10), and The Ultimate Boon (the "Goal" part of Day 1 and the "Resolution" part of Day 4) in other assignments. You may have also identified the Supernatural Aid, Goddess, Temptress and Father Figure in your Dramatis Personae. Organize everything you have into the template. You can fill out more of the template if you want, but we'll have exercises to flesh out those parts later.

By the way, if you like the Hero's Journey template, there's a well-known simplified Hero's Journey called Vogler's Story Structure:

Campbell's Hero's Journey is good if you want the strong structure of a well-defined template. Vogler's Story Structure is good if you want a little more flexibility.
