October Novel Prep Challenge

Just sharing:
At the end of each profile, I asked myself 'Why/How is s/he important to the storyline?'
Thinking about this cleared a lot of hurdles for me.
Then I thought, maybe I should ask this question for every character..
When I did, it pushed another character into the backstory, a character I had originally thought would be important to the story itself.
