Noticing Newbies

I am 56 years old, and I live in USA. I am doing some serious writing for the first time. Maybe first time I have the time to get serious. I like the short story so I am currently working on a few stories that I plan to put into a book. I write mostly Fiction stories.
I am a little confused here, how I go about getting reviews for the two items I have up. Is there something I need to do?
It looks really cool here though, and there is plenty of information available. I see me hanging here for a long time.
I think, I need to figure out how to do a review also - that way I can do a few every week.
