Dialect and Dialogue
I'm working on a short story about a father and his daughter, and I've given the father a Southern dialect.

Currently I have been sprinkling it in with the dialogue, i.e. "g'on" instead of "go on".

My question is: how do you signify dialect? Through dialogue, or make mention of it in your prose?
